Partnering with Clear Vision Ministries

Everything accomplished through Clear Vision Ministries is through the group effort of people working together. We appreciate each person who donates time, effort, funds and prayers on behalf of CVM. In fact, praying for CVM is one of the major ways you can partner with us. Please pray for the following:

Leaders-- wisdom in making decisions and choosing projects
Funding for projects-- travel expenses, construction, training and other materials
People-- to volunteer on projects, safety during travel and while working, ability to help others
Missionaries-- strength, wisdom, financial concerns, health, family life and more
Funding for administration
Nationals-- CVM would be a blessing to them, learning during times of training, openness to receive help without becoming dependent

Please feel free to add these needs to your daily prayer list. At the least, pray for CVM whenever you think of this organization. We need your help through prayer because it really does make a difference in how effective we can be.

Fiji Many different ways exist for you to partner with Clear Vision Ministries through donations. Without the support of people like you, CVM would cease to exist along with the work we accomplish. We never take for granted the gifts people give to others through this organization. Together, we are improving the lives of thousands of people around the world each year.

As an IRS recognized 501(c)(3) organization, funds and gifts donated to Clear Vision Ministries are tax deductible. We allow donors to direct funds in a number of different ways by informing CVM in writing of your desires:

General use to meet the projects CVM decides to work on
A specific project or type of project, such as the construction of a school or leadership training
A specific project cost on behalf of a volunteer to cover the expense of that person volunteering on a project

You also have a number of different ways to provide gifts to our organization:

Establish a monthly gift through a direct deposit to CVM (Click "direct deposit" above to get started). Even $1 per month will help when put with other donations.
Use Goodsearch.com for all of your Internet searches and put Clear Vision Ministries in the box for the organization you want to support.
Register with iGive.com and make purchases from over 700 stores online. When you register, list Clear Vision Ministries as the charity you want to support. You will receive discounts and coupons when shopping through iGive.com.
Give a portion of the funds you earn on eBay auctions (click to learn how).
Provide a tax deductible monetary gift by clicking the donation button, PayPal processes credit/debit card based gifts.
Mail a gift in the form of a check, money order or cashier's check.
Donate stocks, bonds or other appreciated assets-- these gifts provide you with the full tax exemption of the current value of the gift, allowing you to give more than the original price of the investment plus you avoid various taxes and fees.
Provide items needed for various projects, recent gifts include puppets, candy, volleyball set, soccer balls, flannel graphs, construction paper, crayons, beach balls and much more.

While we make every effort to make sure funds go to specifically named projects when available, the final usage of contributions is determined by the ministry. For example, individuals may give funds with a certain project in mind but the project may change for any number of reasons not associated with CVM. We may plan on a particular project in the fall that is completed by another group in the summer. Funds would then be used for areas consistent with our stated purposes.

The easiest way to help Clear Vision Ministries is through a monthly direct deposit to our organization through Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT). You don't have to worry about remembering to write a check, buy stamps and envelopes and get donations in the mail. We have been given the opportunity to have funds transferred into our account for a mere fraction of the normal cost. You can give anywhere from $1.00 a month to $1,000 a month or more and we only pay a set transaction fee (no percentages charged). Please give at least $1.00 a month to partner with us on a regular basis to help people worldwide.

A record of your monthly gift will show up on your bank statement and you will receive an annual receipt from Clear Vision Ministries.

We work on a variety of projects from construction of schools, clinics and/or churches to providing leadership training for various ministries/organizations to providing medical help and more. La Ceiba We are looking for people to volunteer on many of the projects Clear Vision Ministries takes on. We are looking for people who have a willingness to help others and would like to see other parts of the world.

Sometimes, we look for people with specific skills, like doctors, dentists, welders, bricklayers and more but not every time. On every project, we need people who are willing to lend a hand and do anything from holding a baby to carrying a bucket of water and other tasks almost anyone can perform. There is something for everyone to do on all of our projects, no matter what skills you have. The process is simple to join us on a project:

Fill out an application with CVM. Parts of the application are pages for referrals and consent to perform a background check. Completed applications are due with the initial project donation. Download the CVM application here.
Provide funds to help cover the expenses of the project. You must meet deadlines for deposits and all other donations so we can make the proper arrangements for each project.
Make sure your passport is up to date. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months after your return from the CVM project. Your local post office can help you obtain a new or updated passport. It can take up to 3 months for your passport to be processed.
Pack your bags with the packing list we provide and prepare yourself for a great time.
