Thanks to all of your help, we were able to go to Quito, Ecuador again in the Spring of 2007. We worked with a Spanish speaking television network, Unsion, poised to take family oriented television programming into all of the Americas. We worked with missionary Bill MacDonald to give the organization some direction, organizational assistance and administration renovation to make this ministry the best it can be.

One of the greatest aspects of this ministry in Ecuador is the counseling (or good advice) offered to people at no charge. Everyday, people call a counseling hotline or show up for face to face meetings to get help in many areas of life from finances to family problems to addictions and more. People who could not otherwise afford high quality help can get it for free.

We also took some medical supplies to the school we visited the last time we were in Ecuador. The school is located in a very poor area where unemployment is an astounding 80%. Thanks to your help, we were able to give each student his own toothbrush and provided toothpaste and dental floss. One boy almost started crying when Taylor (our son) gave him a toothbrush. It is amazing how we can impact the life of someone with small acts of love and kindness.

An ongoing relationship has been established to help Unsion reach more people with positive television programming and quality help for their lives. We will return to Ecuador and may be able to put together a team of people to work on a project while we are there.
